BASF lifts force majeure on MDI system and TPU Elastollan products in North America

Posted on July 24, 2017

WYANDOTTE, MI, July 21, 2017 – BASF lifted the force majeure in North America on methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) system and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) Elastollan® products, effective immediately. The force majeure was a direct result of weather related events that affected Kinder Morgan’s St. Gabriel, Louisiana terminal.

Selected MDI related products will remain on allocation until further notice while we work to rebuild inventories and normalize supply chain and plant operations.
